Indoor Utility
Accurate, up to date indoor utility locates are critical for any construction project. The planning phase of a project relies heavily on the accuracy of as built information detailing the site’s underground infrastructure. With GPRS’ indoor utility locating services, you can update existing or create new as-built maps and models that portray actual site conditions. We provide complimentary high-resolution maps in the form of PDF, KMZ, and SHP files with every indoor utility locating project we perform. Data can be processed into additional maps and models.
Indoor Utility Markings
Indoor utility locating often takes place in spaces that require impermanent marking solutions like chalk or painters tape where paint, sharpie, and other permanent marking are not desired. Our Project Managers are trained to make all their field markings clear, accurate, and understandable for anyone who may view them.
Deliverable: Field surface markings and photos as requested.
3D Virtual Tour
GPRS can implement 3D Cameras or 3D Laser Scanners at your site to document all the interior findings. GPRS uses these cameras to create a floor plan of your site with our results added as linework, or to create 3D views and point clouds. Our 3D virtual tour utility lets your team tour the location, add digital notes, and even measure inside the point cloud viewer.
Deliverable: 90 day access to the virtual tour site (this access can be extended as needed).
2D or 3D CAD
GPRS can create 2D CAD drawings from the 3D Virtual Tour data. GPRS Project Managers add relevant notes and can even overlay the clients' drawings if available. If there aren't existing plans, we can create a floor plan using the exports available. Further development of the data into 3D models of the project can be created per the client’s specification for additional fees.
Deliverable: DWG and/or DGN CAD Files, JPEG files of floor or ceiling, 2D CAD PDF, point cloud, 3D BIM model, and/or 3D mesh files.
