Task
GPRS provided laser scanning services for the Arena Theatre in Houston, Texas. The client desired to replace the current seating and did not have accurate drawings. PROBLEM
The client has a remote laser scanner; however, due to inclement weather, could not make the flight to Houston. With a full concert schedule and a limited window of opportunity to laser scan, the client contacted GPRS to handle this project for them.
Solution
Since GPRS offers nationwide service, a Project Manager (PM) quickly mobilized to the site to perform laser scanning. Using the LeicaHDS7000 Ultra-High-Speed Laser Scanner with Extended Range, the PM captured the existing conditions and delivered point cloud data to the client the next day.
