Task

Scan approximately 15,000 s. f. of interior space

PROBLEM

  • The client needed to transform multiple areas within Acrisure Stadium:
    • Installing green rooms for players and their families as they waited for their names to be called
    • Hanging large banners which required the locations of certain pipe runs that could affect where their display
  • They needed up-to-date and precise measurements of the area to properly plan and safely execute the project

Solution

  • GPRS Project Managers performed roughly 90 scans with LiDAR-based 3D laser scanners to capture every inch of the requested areas
  • The point cloud data obtained from these scans was translated into 2D drawings and 3D models to accurately plan the installations

Benefits

  • 2-6mm accurate drawings and models provided the client with a clear look at the whole space before installation began
  • The client was able to begin outfitting the stadium months before the first pick was called
  • The client also used the deliverables as reference when returning the stadium’s interior to its original layout in preparation for the 2026 NFL season
