Water & Sewer Damage Awareness Week: National Water & Wastewater Safety Event Returns for Second Year

Safety Initiative for Water and Wastewater Managers, Municipalities, Facilities, and Property Managers Runs October 21-25

GPRS is proud to sponsor Water & Sewer Damage Awareness Week (WSDAW), a safety initiative for water and wastewater managers, municipalities, facilities, and property managers, nationwide.

A large diameter pipe awaits installation long a roadway, flanked by orange construction barrels.
Over 6 billion gallons of water are lost annually throughout the U.S., costing communities $2 billion per year.

Underground Infrastructure highlighted why the event is so important, and provided context from GPRS Chief Strategy Officer Jason Schaff. “Infrastructure in the U.S. is in poor shape – water and wastewater systems are no exception. WSDAW offers education on practical ways to prevent the further degradation of these critical underground assets! WSDAW is the marrying of a solution with a problem.”

The week-long event is October 21-25. Read more about WSDAW here.
