GPRS Celebrates the Retirement of Existing Conditions Founder & CEO Kurt Yeghian
Existing Conditions, a GPRS company, confirms the retirement of Founder and CEO Kurt Yeghian, which took effect on August 1st, 2025.

Yeghian founded the 3D laser scanning company in 1997 to address a critical gap in the architecture, engineering, and construction (AEC) industry: the lack of dependable as-built documentation.
“It seemed strange that such an important part of the project was really being neglected,” Yeghian stated. “So, it made sense to start a company that provides this service.”

Just hours after the launch of its website in 1999, Existing Conditions landed its first project. From there, Existing Conditions grew quickly and executed high-profile reality capture projects at institutions that include the Museum of Fine Arts, the New York Stock Exchange, and Yale University, positioning the firm as a national leader in the field.
Yeghian’s role extended outsite the title “Founder & CEO" because he mentored staff and created a company culture focused on teamwork, client partnerships, and staying ahead of the curve.
