GPRS

This year’s event will take place December 1 - 4, 2025

Three veteran service members will be chosen at random to receive a four-day/three-night, all-expenses-paid trip that includes a two-day deer hunt or a one-day deer hunt/one-day bird hunt and a $500 GPRS Veteran swag package.
(All flights, car rentals, and sleeping arrangements will be handled by Carman Thurman)

The Schedule:

• December 1^st & 4^th are designated travel days to and from the event for those who require it.
• Flights will be through Detroit International Airport (DTW) and rental cars will be provided.
• In the early afternoon of December 1^st, you will meet your guides at the Kessinger Compound in nearby Perrysburg, Ohio, where you will receive a safety briefing and have shooting practice
• After that, you’ll check in to your hotel. In the evening, you will dine with GPRS Senior Leadership. There will also be a photo op, so be prepared!
• The deer hunt will take place December 2^nd & 3^rd.
• Veterans will return home on December 4^th.

How to Enter:

• Registration for the event drawing will take place October 7 - 13, 2025. (See the registration form below)
• The drawing for the event trip will be held on October 14^th and will be recorded. Immediately after, all GPRS vets and the winners will be notified via email.

The Fine Print:

• Winners will be randomly selected from eligible submissions received October 7 - 13, 2025. The drawing will occur October 14^th, and winners will be announced via a company-wide email immediately after
• There will be a conference call with the winners and event organizers the week of October 14^th to go over logistics and answer questions
• This event will be considered “working hours” for the selected veterans. No PTO will need to be used
• If you are not interested in hunting but would still like to be recognized and receive logoed swag, please register and indicate ‘no hunt’
• Hunters will each be provided with a $500 hunting gear package
• Pictures and video captures throughout the event may be used by the GPRS Marketing Department
• All veterans who participate in the hunting event will be required to sign a Release of Liability Waiver
• Previous winners of the Toledo trip will be ineligible for another Veterans Day Appreciation Event for a period of five years from their win
