GPRS 2024 Veterans Day

Welcome Veterans!

This year’s GPRS Veterans Appreciation Event will be a little different than in previous years, so keep reading to get all the details you need!

This year’s event will take place December 2-5, 2024.

Three veteran service members will be chosen at random to receive a four-day/three-night, all-expenses-paid trip that includes a two-day deer hunt or a one-day deer hunt/one-day bird hunt and a $500 GPRS Veteran swag package.
(All flights, car rentals, and sleeping arrangements will be handled by Carman Thurman)

The Schedule:

As per our tradition, three GPRS veteran service members will receive an all-expenses-paid, four-day/three-night stay in Toledo, Ohio that includes a meal with our Senior Leadership and a two-day hunting trip.

• December 2^nd and December 5^th are designated travel days to and from the event for those who require it. You will fly into and out of the Detroit International Airport (DTW). Rental cars will be provided.
• In the early afternoon of December 2^nd, you’ll be scheduled to arrive and meet your guides at the Kessinger Compound in nearby Perrysburg, Ohio. There, you will receive a safety briefing and get in some shooting practice.
• After that, you’ll check in to your hotel. In the evening, you will dine with GPRS Senior Leadership. There will also be a photo op, so be prepared!
• The deer hunt will run December 3-4.
• The bird hunt will run December 4^th.
• Veterans will return home on December 5^th.

How to Enter:

• Registration for the event drawing will take place October 7 - 13, 2024. (See the registration form below)
• The drawing for the event trip will be held on October 14^th and will be recorded. Immediately after, all GPRS vets and the winners will be notified via email.

The Fine Print:

• Winners will be randomly selected from eligible submissions received October 7 - 13, 2024. The drawing will occur October 14^th, and winners will be announced via a company-wide email immediately after
• There will be a conference call with the winners and event organizers the week of October 14^th to go over logistics and answer questions
• This event will be considered “working hours” for the selected veterans. No PTO will need to be used
• If you are not interested in hunting but would still like to be recognized and receive logoed swag, please register and indicate ‘no hunt’
• Hunters will each be provided with a $500 hunting gear package
• Pictures and video captures throughout the event may be used by the GPRS Marketing Department
• All veterans who participate in the hunting event will be required to sign a Release of Liability Waiver
• Previous winners of the Toledo trip will be ineligible for another Veterans Day Appreciation Event for a period of five years from their win
