Video Pipe Inspection (CCTV) is a service used to inspect underground water sewer and lateral pipelines, VPI is a great tool for investigating cross-bores, structural faults and damages, and lateral line inspection.

With new build construction and renovation project, the likelihood of needing to cut or core concrete is high. There is an inherent risk of striking rebar, conduits, and post tension cables during the cutting or coring process. If a strict occurs, repair costs begin to add up, delays creep into your schedule and it creates a safety hazard for your employees.

The goal of the GPRS Deliverables Department is to deliver clear and understandable findings with each of our outputs from field markings to field sketches, KMZ files, or CAD drawings that provide 2D site plans or even 3D CAD models. In addition, upon the completion of every project, our customers receive a job summary that includes job scope information, site photos, description of site conditions, equipment used, and notes from the project.

Private Utility Locating – Oklahoma

When a new fence needed to be installed, they contacted Wade Vickers of GPRS Oklahoma to locate private utilities within the posting area. Using Ground Penetrating Radar, Wade Vickers located multiple gas, electric, and water lines within the area. Since the results were marked with pin flags and orange marking paint, the customer was able to avoid the underground utilities during installation. GPR is non-destructive, non-hazardous, time efficient and gives immediate results.

Gas Pipelines Located Using Ground Penetrating Radar – Oklahoma City

Ground Penetrating Radar Systems of Oklahoma works extensively with the Oil & Gas Industry. Prior to the installation of a new pipeline, Brandon Campos of GPRS Texas was contacted to locate abandoned pipelines within the proposed excavation path in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Multiple lines were located using Ground Penetrating Radar and the Radio Detection Device. Since GPR shows data in real time, the results were communicated to the customer with the location and depths shown using pin flags & wooden stakes. GPRS provides knowledge of what lies beneath the surface. Using GPRS reduces risk and cost, promotes a safe work environment, and provides non-destructive testing by locating materials such as concrete, plastic, metal, steel, and pavement.

Identifying Trench Lines For Deep Utilities In Road – Austin, TX

During a utility relocation project in downtown Austin, TX, contractors brought Corey Brecht with GPRS out to the site to help them identify deep utilities such as sewer lines. Previous excavations to install these utilities left behind deviations in the subgrade that were identifiable with GPR. This helped the construction crew identify the precise location of the deep utilities.
