GPRS Locates Post Tension Cables & Rebar Prior to Core Drilling - Cleveland, Ohio

Recently, Ground Penetrating Radar Systems (GPRS) was requested on site by a general contractor to perform a Ground Penetrating Radar (GPR) scan in Cleveland, Ohio. The purpose was to locate any post tension cables as well as rebar prior to core drilling. The building was new and no reinforcement could be hit. All rebar and cables were marked out in area of concern and the general contractor was able to safely drill holes without hitting any reinforcement. Ground Penetrating Radar Systems is the best way to ensure the locations of reinforcement and conduits prior to saw cutting/drilling through concrete. The pictures show all of the cables and rebar marked on site prior to core drilling.
