Concrete Floor Scan At Hospital in Albuquerque, New Mexico

rebar and supporting steel

A contractor responsible for laying new conduit in a hospital in Albuquerque, New Mexico contacted Ground Penetrating Radar Systems, Inc. (GPRS) to map out reinforcement and conduit in a concrete floor. GPRS scanning helps contractors ensure that areas for drilling are unobstructed and reduces the likelihood of subsurface obstruction strikes.

The scans were completed in a timely manner and results were delivered real-time and marked directly on the surface of the concrete flooring. Jude Tenorio of GPRS New Mexico was able to map out the reinforcement and conduit within the designated areas to be cut. The results were then presented to the contractor and helped to ensure that work on the site could continue efficiently and safely.
