In February 2009, GPRS, Inc. was contacted to verify the locations of the post tension cables and conduit in the floor at this M Street office building in Washington, D.C. The purpose of the scanning was to find a clear area to core drill a 3” hole for the new heating in the building. The Virginia office of Ground Penetrating Radar was able to mark out all of the rebar, post tension cables and conduit within the concrete to ensure nothing was struck during the core drilling. If you have a project were you don’t know what lies beneath the surface and want to verify what is in the concrete prior to coring or saw cutting contact GPRS,Inc.
