Ground Penetrating Radar Systems specializes in locating underground utilities for our clients all over the United States. We say we could to the ends of the earth for our clients and one of our recent jobs in New York was actually on an island.
Ground Penetrating Radar Systems of New York was hired by Turner Construction Company to locate any utilities prior to digging on Governors Island. They were performing test pits to determine the conditions of the sea wall. GPRS was hired to clear the selected areas of any utilities. Governors Island is located off the south end tip of Manhattan.
GPRS performs a variety of ground-based applications which include detecting gas, water, electrical, cable, and fiber optics lines and wires prior to excavation or building. Our goal is to identify the type and location of these utilities in order to prevent damage to them and the surrounding environment as well as protect your workers on the job site.
Bryan Vickers performs ground penetrating radar scanning to detect any utilities beneath the surface prior to excavation. For Underground Surveying in New York City, Rochester, or Albany, contact Bryan Vickers at Bryan.Vickers@GP-Radar.com or 646-765-5599.
