Utility Locate in Pontiac, Michigan

Ground Penetrating Radar Systems, Inc. of Michigan was contacted by Boart Longyear to perform Ground Penetrating Radar services to locate existing underground utilities at a General Motors Plant in Pontiac, Michigan. Boart Longyear was on site to drill 21 different soil borings around the plant and needed all obstruction marked out before they drilled. Ground Penetrating Radar is a non-destructive testing method that can be performed in real time. Matt Johnson was able to identify and mark the underground utilities directly onto the top surface along with depth estimates.
