Ground Penetrating Radar Systems of Salt Lake City recently visited the Questar Gas facility in Salt Lake City for IHI Environmental to locate a slurry wall surrounding a warehouse on site. The technician on site was able to locate the slurry wall and map its location around the perimeter of the warehouse. The information provided allowed the city to have the correct location for the as built records as part of the land the wall was located on was being purchased.

Geophysical investigations are the best way to save time and money. Soil imaging is an invasive process that doesn’t emit any harmful rays, which means bystanders or passersby are not subject to any health risks. The process is also quick a certified and trained technician can cover hundreds of feet in a day, and since it’s a live feed system, the results are instant! GPRS of Salt Lake City is being called out to several job sites every week to scan for any dangers prior to construction beginning to avoid costly delays after the project has started.
