Reinforcement Steel Mapping in Oklahoma

Using ground penetrating radar, Wade Vickers of GPRS (Oklahoma Division) was able to map out the reinforcement steel within a concrete slab at the downtown Oklahoma City Devon building site before being core-drilled. Mapping the reinforcement steel before core drilling or saw-cutting is vital to preserving the integrity of a building’s structure. Ground penetrating radar can efficiently and accurately locate reinforcing steel inside the concrete.
