 GPRS Albuquerque assisted 4H Plumbing & Heating on a project in Albuquerque to locate reinforcement (rebar and post tension cables in concrete) at the Sheraton Albuquerque Airport Hotel. Dozens of bathrooms were being remodeled to comply with new handicap specifications and new holes needed to be cored on all the floors to accommodate the new mechanical installations. There was concern by the owner and general contractor that Post Tensioning was in the floor and did not want to risk severing any tendons when coring the concrete. In this case GPR allowed the hotel to maintain operations due to no radiation being emitted during the concrete imaging process.
