Downtown Ann Arbor Michigan has several new projects going on and one of them is a new Fed Ex Kinko’s. Although the building isn’t new, Fed Ex is renovating the space to match all of the latest and greatest features of a Fed Ex Kinko’s.

GPRS got involved on the project to perform rebar locating on the concrete slab. The concrete was 12” thick with two mats of rebar.  The contractors on the job needed to make penetrations through the floor for phone and data lines, electrical conduits, and plumbing. Although the proposed penetrations didn’t give much leeway for moving, GPRS was able to locate all the rebar in order that it would not be cut.
