Post Tensioned Locate in Park City, Utah

Ground Penetrating Radar Systems of Salt Lake City recently visited Park City to investigate a concrete slab for post tensioned cables. Bothers III Inc. needed to cut a hole in the concrete slab to install a vent system and needed to avoid the post tensioned cables. The technician on site was able to locate the post tensioned cables in the area so the hole could be cut safely. The information the GPRS technician provided allowed the saw cutter to know precisely where the cables are running so they can position their hole accordingly.

Post Tensioned Locate

Concrete imaging as a safe and quick way to “see” what is happening in the concrete before a saw cut is performed. This simple service can prevent damage to the steel in the concrete preserving the structural integrity of the building. Concrete imaging has the ability to penetrate 16”-18” of concrete and can locate anything from voids to plastic conduits. Ground Penetrating Radar Systems of Salt Lake City can perform this type of service in Ogden, Heber and Provo.
