Post Tension and Rebar Mapping at
William P. Hobby Airport, Houston, Texas

Hobby Airport continues to make improvements to the airport.  They are in the midst of completing a  major renovation to the parking structure located on the Hobby Airport Grounds.  To complete this project safely United Restoration & Preservation, Inc has contracted GPRS to complete the scanning prior to opening the concrete.  There concern is with the post tensioned cables as these cables can be deadly if broken.  The areas that need to be scanned, using ground penetrating radar varies in size and locations as not all the concrete is in need of repairs.  Due to this fact they contacted the specialists, GPRS. This is an ideal application for ground penetrating radar as PT Cable and rebar locating are GPR specialties. Using the GPR we can do large areas of work quickly and accurately without needing to develop any film.  GPRS, Inc. from Houston, TX took the call and has mobilized to the site.
