Ground Penetrating Radar Systems of Salt Lake City was recently contracted to clear concrete cores on sixteen floors and two landing pads on the roof of the Senior Housing Center. Keir Construction of Salt Lake City, Utah needed to run a new hot water system for the residents there. The technician on site was able to locate all the PT-Cables and rebar surrounding the cores. This jobsite was in an active residence building and since inconveniencing the elderly who lived there was not an option; using Ground Penetrating Radar Systems was the only efficient and effective way of finding the unknowns in the concrete of the building without emitting any harmful radiation.
