GPR Used for Outdoor Utility Locating in Provo, Utah

E-Corp recently used Ground Penetrating Radar Systems to assist on a project at the Provo Airport. A new tower was being installed to help the FAA with tracking planes and a trench needed to be run to power the tower as well as data lines.

GPR was used to scan the ground to look for any utilities that crossed the path of the future trench. A duct bank was located that ran diagonally through the site and it was marked on the surface.
