When the plans were to anchor bolts into the concrete walls, the engineers did not want any structural damage to the building. GPRS of New York was called to locate the vertical and horizontal rebar in the 12” concrete walls. Bryan Vickers was able to not only locate the rebar, but to give an exact depth as well. There were approximately 15 different locations that needed scanned. The project was completed within a half day on site.
Ground penetrating radar can efficiently and accurately locate reinforcing steel inside the concrete.
