KHI Mechanical Inc. hired GPRS of Salt Lake City to clear an 800 foot long trench of any utilities so they could safely tie another utility in to the surrounding buildings. GPRS was able to image anything in the soil to approximately four feet deep. Ground Penetrating Radar Systems also utilized radio detection to locate any live lines in the area up to six feet deep, giving KHI Mechanical the most comprehensive survey available.

GPRS of Salt Lake City was able to complete the ground imaging survey in four hours and located over 12 utilities and several anomalies that should be avoided during the trenching process. Ground Penetrating Radar Systems cutting edge equipment provides real time data so all the findings were marked on the surface of the soil with spray paint and pin flags as they were found.
