Recently, Ground Penetrating Radar Systems was called to locate utilities in and below a slab-on-grade inside the St. Elizabeth Hospital in Youngstown, OH. A section of the hospital is under renovation and multiple sections of the floor needed to be cut open for trenching. Prior to cutting the floor, GPRS was called to identify any conduits in or below the concrete slab. GPRS was able to locate and determine the depths of live conduits running beneath the slab in various areas helping the contractor to avoid severing any lines.
