Ground Penetrating Radar Used to Locate Post Tensioning in Aurora, Colorado

GPRS of Denver, Colorado recently performed a concrete scan on a parking deck in Aurora, Colorado. The client was installing a new railing system that would anchor in to the side of the slab and needed to avoid striking any of the tensioned cables in the concrete while drilling.

The technician on site was able to non-destructively map the location of the post tension cables directly onto the surface of the concrete.
