Ground Penetrating Radar
Locates Concrete Reinforcing

GPR Locates Concrete ReinforcingThe Pitt Cathedral of Learning in Pittsburgh, PA requires the use of ground penetrating radar before their contractors perform any saw cutting or core drilling into slabs.  GPRS has been to called to scan the slabs in the Pitt Cathedral many times in order to locate conduit and embedded beams and reinforcing.

GPRS is able to accurately locate conduit and rebar in concrete and mark their locations on depths on the surface of the concrete.  GPR emits no radiation like concrete x-ray and can be used at any time of day, even in crowded buildings.  GPRS is also unique because we use Radio Detection on all of our jobs to help detect power and to locate conduits or other pipes or utilities in or below concrete slabs.
