Ground Penetrating Radar Locates In January 2011, Jeff DeHart of Ground Penetrating Radar Systems was hired by Blake Contracting to use Ground Penetrating Radar to locate conduits and plumbing lines under the slab in a radiology lab in Atlanta, Georgia.
GPR can be used to determine the existence and location of rebar, PT (post tension) cable, conduits and plumbing embedded within concrete slabs, as well as utilities and conduits beneath slab-on-grade concrete.
