Ground Penetrating Radar Locates Conduits

Last month, Ground Penetrating Radar Systems utilized their GPR equipment at Aultman Hospital in Canton, OH to locate conduits in a slab on grade. New equipment was being installed, and before the concrete slab was cut into, they wanted to ensure no existing conduits would be severed. GPRS came in and located a conduit running directly beneath the slab where a trench was to be cut out. Ground Penetrating Radar was able to accurately locate the center and depth of the conduit, marking its path on the surface of the floor.
