Ground Penetrating Radar used in Boulder, Colorado

GPRS of Denver, Colorado was contacted by The University of Colorado at Boulder to assist on a project at the Fiske Planetarium. One of the exhibits in the main entry area was in need of renovation and in the process a fence would need to be installed to protect the exhibit. There was concern by the facilities department that conduits were running through the slab on grade floor to the other exhibits in the hall.

Find Conduit in Floor in Colorado

Ground Penetrating Radar Systems of Colorado mobilized to the site and was able to mark out the location of conduits in the slab. Concrete Imaging in Boulder is a great way to non-destructively locate conduits in or under a concrete slab. The Planetarium was able to stay open because the radar scan did not emit any radiation.

Jason Schaff is the Regional Director for GPRS Colorado, to schedule a concrete survey he can be reached at 303-945-5415 or Jason.Schaff@GP-Radar.com.
