GPR Scanning in Detroit, Michigan

Ground Penetrating Radar Systems of Michigan recently assisted Motor City Electric on a project in Detroit, Michigan. The electrical company had a total of 12 new conduits that needed to run to a new electrical panel on the floor below. Ground Penetrating Radar was used on this elevated slab to mark out the location of a beam, reinforcing steel and conduits located in the concrete slab prior to coring for the new conduits.

GPR Scanning

Ground Penetrating Radar is a non-destructive tool to help locate conduits and reinforcing steel within a concrete slab. It is also a great way for facilities to preserve the structural integrity prior to any concrete cutting or coring. It can save time and money in costly repairs as well as prevent injuries from cutting into live electrical lines.

Please contact Ground Penetrating Radar Systems of Michigan, Matt Johnson, for more information or how we can assist you with your next project at 248-917-1763 or matt.johnson@gp-radar.com.
