GPRS X Ray Locates Concentrations
of Water in Murray, Utah

Recently the Fashion Place Mall had a water leak under their slab on grade that was flooding some of their electrical boxes that were located in the slab. General Growth Properties Inc. was extremely concerned about the water coming in contact with the electric conduits. GGP requested Ground Penetrating Radar Systems of Salt Lake City survey the area to find the pooling of water to help pinpoint where they needed to excavate to locate the suspected broken pipe.  

GPRS of Salt Lake City was able to x-ray through the concrete to locate several concentrations of water and determine that the water was also running underneath several high voltage conduits. GPRS also mapped any utilities that may be passing through the trench GGP is planning on digging to correct the problem.
