GPRS Survey at the Hart-Dole-Inouye
All 75 locations around the Federal Center property were surveyed using the latest ground penetrating technology. Underground utilities were found around some of the new light pole locations saving Vector Electric from disrupting any service by hitting them. These utilities were not portrayed on any site maps. When Vector Electric needed to install 75 new solar powered light pole foundations around the Hart-Dole-Inouye Federal Center property, they contacted Ground Penetrating Radar Systems of Michigan. Our objective was to do a GPR survey around all the proposed foundation areas to map out any underground utilities or other obstructions prior to auguring for the new poles.
