GPRS Locates Underground
Utilities Prior to Excavation
Dominion Transmission has used GPRS repeatedly to locate underground utilities for their projects. Prior to digging or excavation, Ground penetrating radar can be used to locate any type of underground piping. We can mark their locations onto the ground and we now have GPS technology for plotting utilities onto a map. Dominion Transmission used us ensure that they would not damage and gas drips from the existing line during the installation of their new gas pipeline.
