Concrete imaging is being used by more building inspectors to verify that rebar is placed at the correct spacing. Ground Penetrating Radar Systems of Salt Lake City was contracted by the Salt Lake County to provide this service on a residential building in Magna. The Technician on site was able to locate the rebar spacing in three locations on each wall per the inspectors instructions and provide a detailed report.
GPR is a non-destructive method to locate reinforcing steel or any other anomalies in concrete. The process of surveying concrete is quick and cost effective and is the preferred method of testing because of its lack of radiation. GPRS technicians are certified in the use of concrete imaging and complete 10 hours of OSHA training. This ensures our customers not only have the best information but also the safest technicians on site. Ground Penetrating Radar Systems of Salt Lake City have safely completed jobs in: Orem, American Fork and Tremonton. GPRS of Helena have visited Miles City, Butte and Dillon. Ground Penetrating Radar Systems of Boise has worked in Twin Falls, Idaho Falls and Pocatello.
