Ground Penetrating Radar Systems of Salt Lake City assisted our GPRS Omaha office at the Gene Eppley Camp to locate any utilities running in the area of the directional drilling path. The site had old lines and new lines in very congested areas which made ground sonar a great tool to use to help sort out the confusion. The technician on site was able to locate several utilities in the area that weren’t even on the facilities map!

GPR can help prevent costly damage to utilities or buildings by severing lines that you did not know existed. Non-destructive testing is a great way for facilities to check their as built maps and add lines that may not be included.
