GPRS Detects Conduits and Rebar Flint, MI

Recently, GPRS was hired to find and mark out rebar and conduits within the AT&T-Flint building. Contractors for AT&T needed to drill between 20-30 holes on the 4th level for new heating and cooling lines. Although the holes needed to be 3 inches, the radar scanning found rebar as close as 4 inches on center and several conduits that would have been cut without scanning.

Some of the great benefits of using GPR rather than traditional x-ray were that all 30 locations were scanned in a day, no radiation was used, and the contractor had the findings laid out directly on the concrete slab.
