GPRS Connecticut was called when a Hartford, CT middle school needed help with a remodeling project. They needed to fill in their school’s swimming pool to make room for more classrooms, but when an engineering firm was called to help with the project, their information was a bit misleading. They had two conflicting drawings, one showing 6 beams under the pool, the other showing 8. GPRS was able to solve this issue by not only determining the number of beams supporting the pool’s weight, but also the type of beams that had been used. This was all done in a safe, non-destructive way.
