Cripple Creek Colorado Conduit
Locate Using GPR Technology

GPRS of Colorado Springs recently was contracted to perform concrete imaging at the old Imperial Hotel in Cripple Creek, Colorado. The site was being renovated to become a Casino. The renovation process required the saw cutting and jack hammering of the slab on grade concrete to install new plumbing lines. Prior to cutting the concrete GPRS was hired to scan the concrete slab to locate any conduits that may be in the path of cutting.

Concrete x-ray in Colorado would not have worked for this particular project. The conduits located were lying under a Concrete Slab on Grade. Ground Penetrating Radar (sonar) x-rays the concrete with only one side of access needed. No radiation is emitted during this process. No time is wasted developing x-ray film. Data is in real-time. (GPR) Concrete imaging in Colorado Springs was the only option.

The GPRS employee on site was able to discover multiple conduits while on site. The location and depth of the conduits was able to be marked on the slab in order to keep everyone safe.

GPRS Mountain Division performs concrete imaging scans in Cripple Creek as well as Pueblo, Colorado Springs, Woodland Park, Fountain, Monument and Castle Rock. Our local office is located in Highlands Ranch, Colorado but is able to serve other Front Range areas such as Parker, Lakewood, Greeley, Arvada, Commerce City and Denver.
