Conduit Mapping in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina

In January of 2012 Ground Penetrating Radar Systems of NC was requested on-site to locate conduit in a concrete slab. The project was at a hotel in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. The scope of work was to scan and mark out any conduit in the elevated slab prior to core drilling. GPR is a perfect tool for locating electrical conduit in a concrete application. GPRS also uses Radio Detection to locate the power in the conduit as well. On this job both techniques were used successfully and no conduit was hit while core drilling.
