Concrete X-ray in Omaha, Nebraska
Eppley Airfield Airport

All across the United States, airports are installing new body scanners in the security checkpoints. K D Electric of Omaha, NE was installing 2 units at Eppley Airfield in Omaha and needed to drill 20+ locations to supply the units with power. There was concern by the airport that conduits could lay within the floor. A concrete x-ray was required to locate conduits in this situation, however radiation and the subsequent clearing of the area was not an option in an active airport. Ground Penetrating Radar Technology is a great tool to locate conduits in a concrete slab. No radiation is emitted in the process and the results are in real time, quickly finishing the project in an active facility.

Concrete X-Ray Omaha, Nebraska

GPRS mobilized to the site and was able to scan the 20+ locations using gpr and mark out several conduits that ran near the proposed coring locations. Ground Penetrating Radar Systems, Inc. would be happy to provide a similar survey for you in Omaha, Lincoln, Grand Island, Geneva, North Platte and Kearney Nebraska. We also can provide concrete imaging/scanning for Kansas cities such as Kansas City, Wichita, Hays, Lenexa, Salina and Topeka. Contact us at
