Ground Penetrating Radar Systems of Salt Lake City visited a remodeling jobsite at a Brookstone store to locate post tensioning cables prior to concrete cutting. The Technician on site was able arrive on site and map all the reinforcing steel without the hassle of radiation or film. The technician on site was able to locate the post tensioning cables in a 2’x2’ area in a matter of fifteen minutes.
Concrete imaging is the new way to locate dangers below the surface of concrete. It has a live feed data system which is interpreted by a certified technician on site as the scanning is being done. This mean by the time the technician leaves the job site you will know exactly where it is safe to drill. Nondestructive testing is also completely safe for all individuals near the equipment because it doesn’t emit radiation or any other harmful rays. GPRS of Salt Lake City can assist on any jobsite in Utah, we have already visited: South Jordan, Weber and Spanish Fork. Ground Penetrating Radar Systems of Boise has visited Pocatello, Idaho Falls and Twin Falls. GPRS of Helena has assisted in Missoula, Great Falls and Billings.
