Concrete Footer Rebar Scan at Merry Go Round Restaurant in Aspen Highlands, Colorado

Ground Penetrating Radar Systems was contracted by the Aspen Ski Company to assist in the remodel of The Merry-Go-Round Restaurant at Aspen Highlands. The $5.8 Million remodel will also include improving the load-bearing capacity of the roof. In order to do so, an engineer had to know what the reinforcement size and pattern was in the concrete footers.

GPRS quickly located the reinforcement in the footers and was able to satisfy the engineer on site with the results. Data was also marked on the surface of the concrete was analysis after the technician left the site.
