Bridge Scan in Skiatook, Oklahoma

Preserving the structural integrity of a bridge is extremely important for the safety of the motorists crossing the bridge on a daily basis. Ground Penetrating Radar Systems of Salt Lake City recently assisted on a bridge project in Oklahoma. The contractor needed to drill through the wall of the bridge to add anchor plates and needed to avoid the structural steel in the concrete. The contractor understood the accuracy and reliability that can be achieved when using GPRS and their trained and certified technicians, which is why we were hired to assist on this project.

Bridge Scan

Concrete locating is a technology used to locate dangers in concrete such as: re-bar, post tensioned cables, conduits and voids. Non-destructive testing is operated on a live feed system, which means data is gathered instantly and plotted directly on the surface of the concrete and can provide precise depths. This technology is great for emergency projects that can’t afford to wait for x-ray film to develop.
