Black Eagle Dam Training– Great Falls, Montana

Ground Penetrating Radar Systems recently serviced several of Montana’s dams at the request of PPLMT inc. PPLMT were updating dams in the Great Falls area and due to the amount of electricity running through the conduits in the slab at these dams  they needed well trained technicians and the best GPR technology available to achieve their goals safely.

GPRS technicians have to successfully complete a five month training regimen before they are allowed to perform ground sonar services in the field. They first have to shadow the senior technician for 4 months, and complete ten hours of OSHA training followed by a week of certification at the headquarters of the manufactures of the GPR equipment. This training is what prepares GPRS technicians for jobs such as these.
