The Robins & Morton Group Carolinas
Medical Center, Mercy Hospital March 2009

In March of 2009 The Robins & Morton Group requested Ground Penetrating Radar Systems on site at the CMC Mercy Hospital in Charlotte, North Carolina.  The Robins & Morton Group needed to have conduits in the concrete located prior to saw cutting being performed as part of hospital renovations.  Ground Penetrating Radar was the ideal technology to use for this task, as it can be performed quickly and with no radiation.  Also, unlike x-ray, GPR only needs access to one side of the concrete in order to locate conduit or other objects in the concrete.
