Mitch Ross of Ground Penetrating Radar Systems uses Ground Penetrating Radar

Mitch Ross of Ground Penetrating Radar Systems uses Ground Penetrating Radar to locate rebar in the concrete at the Woodruff Library in Atlanta.

GPR gives immediate results

GPR gives immediate results, allowing Mitch Ross to mark the rebar directly on the concrete prior to the core drilling being performed.  He is also marking the pattern of the waffle slab so the core can be placed in the center of the shallow space.

Ground Penetrating Radar is similar to concrete x-ray

Ground Penetrating Radar is similar to concrete x-ray except it uses no radiation and therefore can be performed without evacuating other personnel.
