Post Tension Tendon Locate for Kimmel Mechanical

Ground Penetrating Radar Systems, Inc. of Denver, Colorado was recently contacted to use Concrete Imaging on a project at the Auraria Campus in Downtown Denver. Renovations to the South building required coring through the PT slab. There was concern over striking the Post Tension Cables within the slab so GPRS mobilized to the site in order to use Concrete Imaging to Concrete X-Ray the areas in question. All of the steel that was located in the slab was marked on the surface.

GPRS is used often in Nebraska and Colorado to locate Post Tensioned Cables before coring or cutting takes place.
