Plan Art Associates - Boca Raton, FL:

GPRS, Inc was contacted by Plan Art Associates about locating underground utilities in and around two different electrical boxes.  They planned to install four different electrical grounding posts to a depth of 10 feet and wanted to be sure they were not going to hit any existing utilities.

Ground Penetrating Radar

The project was on a rush basis and GPRS was able to accommodate the time constraints that Plan Art was working under.  Once on site ground penetrating radar located several water lines and electrical conduits running near the installation point for the grounding rods.  All of the utilities were then painted on the surface.  In addition to locating the utilities ground penetrating radar was also able to show an approximate depth to the top of the utility.

The project was a success and GPRS was again able to aid a client help prevent a major utility strike.
