GPRS of Salt Lake City, Utah was recently contacted to assist on a project in Ogden, Utah. Additional mechanical penetrations needed to be made in a Residential building in downtown Ogden. There was concern over striking the Post Tension Cables within the slab so GPRS mobilized to the site to use GPR to Concrete X-Ray the area. All of the steel that was located in the slab was marked on the surface.
GPRS is used often in Utah and Colorado to locate Post Tensioned Tendon before coring takes place.
