In January of 2009 Talbert and Bright requested Ground Penetrating Radar Systems on site at the Myrtle Beach International Airport in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. Talbert and Bright needed to have some utilities and other underground anomalies located before work could be performed at the airport. Ground Penetrating Radar is the ideal technology to use for this application since it requires no radiation, and can locate utilities at a fast rate with excellent accuracy.
Mitch Ross of Ground Penetrating Radar Systems uses Ground Penetrating Radar to locate utilities under the taxiway at Myrtle Beach International Airport.

GPR is an ideal way to locate utilities when you cannot completely shut down an area.

Well trained GPRS technicians are able to distinguish all different types of utilities, and other underground anomalies, such as voids or Underground Storage Tanks.

Mitch Ross runs GPRS operations in North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, and Tennessee.

He is based in Charlotte, NC and he can be reached at (704)501-7089 or by email at mitch.ross@gp-radar.com. Scanning for the purpose of locating underground utilities is a frequent service performed by technicians at GPRS.
