MillerCoors Brewing Company
(Locate Electrical Conduit)

In February of 2009 MillerCoors Brewery in Fort Worth, Texas had 200 square feet of saw cutting.   They contacted Scott Clay of GPRS’ Dallas regional office to ask about identifying the location of electrical conduits prior to starting this saw cutting, through the use of Ground Penetrating Radar technology.  They did not know exactly how much electrical conduit was in the floor, or where it was located.  Scott was able to perform the work on a timely basis for MillerCoors and was able to plot the location of all of the electrical conduits that were present in the area directly onto the concrete surface, giving the facility the information they needed to proceed safely and minimizing the risk of an unexpected halt in production.

Scott Clay serves as regional director for Texas.  He can be reached at scott.clay@gp-radar.com, or by phone at the following numbers

Checking for electrical conduits prior to saw cutting and core drilling is a service that is performed routinely for the technicians at Ground Penetrating Radar Systems.  In conjunction with the GPR, our technicians also use Radio Detection equipment to assist in locating electrical conduits that are embedded in concrete are buried underground.
